• The United States Military Academy has occupied the same location since 1802.

• Tree inventories were conducted in 1903, 1929, 1996

• The USMA arborist is leading an ongoing effort to update the inventory.

• Locate, identify, measure, and assess trees of West Point

• Make comparisons of diversity, growth across 120+ years

• Cadets on this project will:

  •  Analyze data to document changes in tree diversity, tree size
